    1. Just think of a topic. War, economics, anything.
    2. Think of a first catchy rhyme. Then it gets easier.
    3. Then start kinda of rhyming out lyrics. Like I did in my song ^(the link)
    4. Then adjust the words a little to all fit together.
You can also add lines to your song so people can feel more of the emotion.

  3. Write about you and how you feel, that's how I get by. Write about how you hate loves songs and why you hate them, you can probably write a song about how you "Love to hate love songs", write that you hate the news today and how you find other ways to make your days positive! Your lyrics represent you, what you do, how "You" feel… unless you want to write lyrics for someone else. Don't settle for what everyone else is doing like the others, dare to be different.

  5. Writing songs doesn't require inspiration; if you think about what you're writing then that'll only make things harder on you.

You gotta just sit down and start writing something that comes from your heart, not to sound too cliche, but that's just how it is.

Just write what you're feeling, what you're experiencing – you know, stuff that comes from your life.

But I'm into love and heartbreak songs – Hank Williams Sr. is my hero – so this may be coming from the wrong person . . .
