How to get inspiration writing a song?

I’ve written tons of songs before but none like this. I want to write about liking someone & they seem to like you too, but then you find out that they don’t really feel the same. How can I get inspiration? To write a song about that? Cause I can’t think of anything.

I write also. I find the best way is to relax and try to not worry about it, something always comes to mind when you are not so hung up on something coming to your mind. Also, be open, you never know what song will be very cool even though it seems corny at the start. If you have any old writes that you haven’t already used, go through them for lines that you forgot about and now seem so very good. Build around that.

    i would try to focus on the way that you feel when it happens to you. obviously its going to be something that brings you down and makes you feel bad. maybe you could start with how it had you feeling good and happy inside and then led to disappointment and sorrow… and maybe taking a shower might help so you can relax and sing a little bit ;)
