I'm having an extremely hard time finding motivation to work out. What's your inspiration to better your life?

Poll: What got you off your butt and ready to take on your worst enemy: exercising, eating less, not smoking, etc. What inspires you? What truly makes you go "I need to do this for me?" I'm having trouble and need muses… okay, just inspiration for my own inspiration. Thanks in advance!
Talking to someone else about it, and then making ourselves accountable to each other. I can't be accountable to myself, so my best friend and I have an exercise pact. I know I can't leave her hanging at the gym…so I show up.

I often have to drag myself to the gym, but remind myself how good i feel afterward. It helps.

I usually have to drag myself to the gym also. But I have set aside two hours of the day for the gym so its like an appointment. Plus I always feel so much better afterwards. In the beginning its usually hard to get yourself to go but the more in shape you get the easier it will be. I've gotten to where working out is addictive. Its my "me-time" for the day.

Fundamentally, it’s all about your mindset. The BIG reasons why do you want to do that!
Being looking nice, good, slim, is not the BIG WHY. Rather, should continue questioning yourself, why do you want to look good, or slim or…
For me, I had been waking up everyday at 5:30am to take breeze walk with my wife for past 1 year. (Yes, 5;30am each day for > 1 year)
The simple reason is that I want to outlive my wife. I know my wife is not as strong in term of emotion as I am. So, I know she will be devastating if I die before her. So, one way to ensure I have good health, is to exercise regularly and eat healthily.
Next, one other important factor is to do it with a partner (Not necessary your spouse), but a exercise (for your case is work out) mate. Your partner will encourage you to be there as there is a committment by both (or more) party to work out together.
When I started initially, many times, I did not feel like waking up early and take that “walk”, But when I thought about my wife, is up and waiting for me, I jump off my bed and went out with her.
Of course, there is also another factor is that there is the only time i have my private session with her. (other time, we will be overwhelming with our kids and leave us no room for each others)
In summary:
1. Find the “REAL BIG REASON” why do you need to work out. (It’s ok, if your answer is to catch more turn-head or eyeing…) but continue to ask until you find the “READ BIG REASON”
2. Find a Work out mate to do it together!
