what is bad about placing higher value on beauty and inspiration versus intellect and knowledge?

romantics idealized lives of children, rural workers, and animals in nature. they sought out the mysterious and the supernatural, looking to far-off places and times for inspiration. what are some "cons" of placing higher value on beauty and inspiration than on intellect and knowledge?
Well lets define beauty "gives a sense of pleasure to one’s self" and inspiration "gives a influence on someone that is very memorable". Well in my opinion, beauty can be deceitful and misleading at times. Beauty can lead you in a direction of false judgement and doesn’t bring out the real facts. Beauty is based on opinion so why should it have higher value? That would only revolve around you and not the big picture. Inspiration is solely based upon your opinionated mindset that YOU liked, which would show irrelevance since once again it revolves you and not the big picture. So why place a higher value? Lets define intellect "the power of knowing" and knowledge "the FACT of knowing something" Well intellect and knowledge play a vital role with one another. Intellect is the system of HIGHLY developed thoughts that look at the big picture and knowledge is the power of learning from experience; the facts about a bigger picture. In my opinion, intellect and knowledge have a higher value opposed to beauty and inspiration. By the way this is just my opinion so there is no need to take offense to it. I not trying to show off just speaking my mind.

Something may be beautiful, but manufactured/harvested in a way that causes problems in society or the environment. It helps to know about the world around you to truly appreciate the beauty in it.

the con is never knowing just how much inspiration the world can give you.
What I mean is, knowledge can inspire itself, or rather knowledge of nature could inspire you further.
So like you see a beautiful meadow, it inspires you, but if you knew about the flowers, the wildlife in that meadow, the things that make that meadow a meadow, you would be truly inspired.
