Where can I find inspiration to make a good site design?

I am not very good at designing; my expertise is coding.

For one of my classes I have to create 3 design layouts.. where can I get some good inspiration and ideas?

Nature… just sit in your backyard and look around

Past Experiences.. lie on your bed and think of cool stuff that has happened to you and put them into art!

Look around on your pc or even a game store for something fun and there ya go!
