I need to write an inspirational speech about the battle at the Alamo and how brave the Texans were to fight even though they were outnumbered and stuff like that…its due soon and i have NOTHING!!! Im not asking for the whole speech just some pointers! thanks!
You make it inspirational by "humanizing" the participants; explain their backgrounds so the reasons behind their actions can be better understood. There was a purpose for the fight of the Alamo, and despite the fact that help didn't arrive in time, these brave men fought for their cause because it was something they believed in. William Travis and David Bowie in particular, had colorful lives. The account of Bowie being bedridden due to illness when Santana's men penetrated the walls of the Alamo, and how -in his dying state- still managed to fight many of them off, is admirable.
