You have to read the small book (4 chapters) of Ruth. It is amazing and inspirational. Do recall that Ruth lived in a time when ‘everyone did what was right in their own eyes" causing enormous violence and suffering. She was also born into a nation that was cursed to the 10th generation by God. She even married a guy named either ’sickly’ or ‘puny’. She was guaranteed to be a loser. So, she had nothing going for her in any way shape or form. But, she chose to trust God. And now she is listed in the genealogy of the Lord Jesus Christ. She was the great grandmother of David the Jewish king. Read that book!

In a book entitled "The Wisdom of Forgiveness" by Victor Chan, with HH the Dalai Lama, there is the story of a man who’d been blinded by a bullet as a child in Ireland. It’s an amazing story of how someone can forgive someone else. While I know this isn’t exactly what you’re asking for, I recommend the book for everyone.

If God is leading you,and your following him. there are many.Like in Exodus when the whole nation had their path blocked by the red sea . with the Egyptians coming to kill them BUT GOD parted the sea and they escaped their enemy. trying to do anything by our own will or willpower is going in the wrong direction.And you can succeed no matter what any one else thinks.With God all things are possible!
