What inspirational books do any of you recommend?

my sister has been going through some rough times. she is a christian so any recommendations of any spiritual inspirational books would be lovely. thank you. God bless.

Well, if she’s having a rough time, a well-written book that involves thorough thinking might help. This is such a famous book, but I read it, and if you actually understand it, you will realize that it is one of the greatest books ever written.

    Greetings! The book I recommend is not Christian, but it is theistic.
    The book is called "Illusions: The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah", written by Richard Bach (he is best known for his book, "Jonathan Livingston Seagull").
    The story is actually a theistic question – What if YOUR messiah, whoever he or she happens to be, returns to Earth doing the job you do and works beside you doing the same task? What would happen?

    The story teaches you how to create your own destiny and your own hope.

    It’s a very short read, but it is very interesting and ultimately very uplifting.

    If your sister chooses not to read it, then perhaps you would like to read it. I have had my copy for nearly thirty years. I never get tired of reading it.
