How do I find motivation to do homework?

Seriously, I used to be a top grade student.

but for some reason I lost all motivation to do homework at home this semester.
I start feeling anxious and get distracted easily by doing things such as asking how to get motivation on Y! answers.

I have no problem paying attention in class however.

Think about this.

I have 9 siblings. Out of all of us.. Only I successfully graduated high school and attending college. Its not a big university or nothing, its a community college. And my mom couldnt be prouder. It feels good to have that love. Although I never had anyone push me, I saw how all my brothers and sisters struggle financially and emotionally. I knew I didnt want a life like that. I wanna help my parents when they cant help me.

Do you want to be like that? Do you want to end up working at a McDonald's making minnimum wage? I think not!!!! :) lol

But seriously think about that.

    Well maybe you need to get tutoring or something. Also you have to train your mind to stay focus on school. You need to have balacance between your school work and your life.

    What in your life is different this year than it was in the past? Maybe if you can identify the change, it might help you understand this a little more. You didn't specify what school you're in… college? High school? If you're in college, remember how flippin' expensive it is. Tell yourself that you owe this to yourself and nothing is going to keep you from finishing. If it's high school, remind yourself that you're going to need good grades to get into the college of your choice… but life isn't totally over… you can always get into a state university as long as your GPA is about a 2.0 I believe.
