How do you keep motivation when you cant get a job?

Ive been trying for 3 months now, been on a couple of interviews and i havnt got anywhere and now i just feel like i should just give up because i just dont care about it much anymore. Im sick of getting rejected.

How do you keep yur motivation whist unemployed?

you’re in good company and you’re far from being alone with 2million in the UK currently out of work and it’s not going to get better for a while. You say you’ve had some interviews without success so work on your interview technique, if you know anyone in HR ask them for some pointers. I haven’t used them but the Jobcentre do give you assistance in tackling interviews.

Avoid daytime television, possibly do some voluntary work and focus on improving skills that will be useful when the job market starts to look like it’s improving, there are a few courses available for the unemployed.

Good luck and don’t get disheartened.

  2. Oh dear you really are down arn’t you.

    OK lets have a look.

First of all this is not about you the person. You are just as good as everyone else, possibly even better. Your problem can only be your application technique.

So ask yourslef the following questions

!. Are your application letters good enough?
    2. Is your CV up to standard - is it really good or just run of the mill?
3.Are your Interview Techniques and Skills good enough?

Have another look at the way you apply and see if there is a way you could make improvements.

You havn’t said what sort of work you are looking for so I am afraid my answers are a little generalised. But dont give up - keep trying.
After all, there is no-one better than you is there?
