how do you become a motivational speaker?

I want to become a motivational speaker. I’m 14 and it would be helpful if someone could find some kinds workshops that are coming up in Toronto for youth leadership.

Yeah I think thats wonderful! There are places that you can go like a club called The toastmasters club where they do just that. They practice their speeches and have people there to help you improve on your speech. Check out their website I think you can log on to www.toastmasters.com or something like this. When I was in college the professors always encouraged us to sign up for this club. You can start here or something like this and start small and work your way up. The best thing is to have experience and the more you have the better you will get. Just practice and ask people for advice. When you get out into the working world there are companies that have meetings where you are required to make a presentation and the speech so that would be a great place to start if you want later on in your career life. So yeah every opportunity you get to speak in front of a class or anywhere else will help you achieve your goals :) Not many americans are willing to step up in front of an audiance and speak so bravo to you!!
