How to begin writing a motivational statement?

What’s the best way to start writing a motivational statement? I am joining the NAVY Officer program, and I am starting off with my first paragraph talking about why I want to join. I just don’t know what my first 2 lines should be. They will set the mood for the rest of the paragraph. Thanks in advance.
